SBI PO Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of three phases, and candidates need to clear each stage to secure their position as a Probationary Officer.

Phase 1: Preliminary Examination

The Preliminary Exam will be an online objective test for 100 marks, divided into three sections:

Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 18 to 36 years as of 1st January 2025.
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years

Educational Qualification:

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025

For Male Candidates:

  • Weight Carrying: Lift & carry 35 kg for 100m in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
  • Running: Complete 1,000m in 4 min 15 sec.

For Female Candidates:

  • Weight Carrying: Lift & carry 20 kg for 100m in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
  • Running: Complete 1,000m in 5 min 40 sec.
  • Note: PET is qualifying in nature.

Document Verification & Medical Examination

  • Candidates clearing PET will be called for Document Verification (DV).
  • If two candidates score the same in CBT, merit will be determined by age (older candidate preferred). If the age is also the same, alphabetical order of name will be considered.
  • Selected candidates must pass a Medical Examination (ME) conducted by the Railway Administration.
