Eligibility Criteria for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 18 to 36 years as of 1st January 2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwD (OBC): 13 years
- PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed 10th Standard OR possess an ITI or equivalent qualification OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

- Refund Policy:
- Candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minority/EBC categories will receive a full refund of ₹250 after appearing in CBT.
- Other candidates will receive a ₹400 refund out of ₹500 after appearing in CBT.

Selection Process for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025
The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification (DV)
- Medical Examination (ME)
Computer-Based Test (CBT) Structure:

Syllabus for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025:
- Mathematics: Number System, LCM, HCF, Ratio & Proportion, Time & Distance, Profit & Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Statistics, etc.
- Reasoning: Analogies, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagrams, Data Interpretation, Decision Making, etc.
- General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences (10th Level – CBSE).
- Current Affairs: Science & Tech, Sports, Culture, Economy, Politics, etc.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for RRB Group D Recruitment 2025
For Male Candidates:
- Weight Carrying: Lift & carry 35 kg for 100m in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
- Running: Complete 1,000m in 4 min 15 sec.
For Female Candidates:
- Weight Carrying: Lift & carry 20 kg for 100m in 2 minutes (without putting it down).
- Running: Complete 1,000m in 5 min 40 sec.
- Note: PET is qualifying in nature.
Document Verification & Medical Examination
- Candidates clearing PET will be called for Document Verification (DV).
- If two candidates score the same in CBT, merit will be determined by age (older candidate preferred). If the age is also the same, alphabetical order of name will be considered.
- Selected candidates must pass a Medical Examination (ME) conducted by the Railway Administration.
